3. Why do I need an
Activation Key?
Immediately after installing DigiElch by means of the
DigiElch.zip archive
the program is running as trial version with some restricted features for
up to
14 days. Both the restricted working period and the restricted features will be
removed if an Activation Key for a DigiElch license has been purchased
and entered in the Enter Key dialog box. The latter appears when clicking on
"Your DigiElch License" in the "Help" item of DigiElch's
start menu (see 1.) Note that each Activation
Key is valid only for the computer having exactly the hardware fingerprint for which
the key was generated.
4. What is and how do I get the
Build of a program?
The build variable is used to distinguish between programs of one and the same
version which differ slightly in their properties. These differences may result
from fixing bugs or from improving features in response to the comments of users.
The actual build of a program is shown when clicking on the About TitraSim command
in
the help menu. An update is not required if the build variable shown there is the same
as that indicated on the
download page.
5. How do I start DigiElch with administrator rights?
Click with the right mouse button on the DigiElch.exe file localized
at C:\Program Files\ElchSoft\DigiElch 4.5 by default. Select "Properties", open the "Compatibility"-TabSheet and activate the option "Run as Administrator".
6. What is the difference between
DigiElch 4.0 and 4.5?DigiElch 4.5 is functionally identical

Internet the program stops working after a couple of days. It
continues working as soon as it is re-connected to the Internet.

does not require access to the Internet for installing or
running the program. Access to the Internet is required only once
for activating
the program by means of an
Activation Key. The
latter is available on the the ElchSoft Homepage and
can be
obtained with any computer (not necessarily with the one on which
the program is running).
